On the afternoon of October 23, the School of Pharmacy held the inaugural meeting of the Pharmaceutical Alumni Association of Jiangsu University and the Alumni Innovation Development Forum in the 1301 meeting room of the School of Pharmacy. Vice President Zhang Jijian attended the meeting and delivered a speech. All members of the Council of Pharmacy Alumni Association and representatives of teachers from various departments attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Lu Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Pharmacy.

The meeting is divided into four items on the agenda. First of all, Wei Yuan, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, welcomed all alumni representatives to the conference on behalf of the school. He introduced the development of the school’s scientific research and personnel training in recent years. He expressed his thankfulness to the alumni for their support and help in the development of the school. Then, Lu Jie read out the Constitutions of Jiangsu University Pharmacy Alumni Association (Draft). The conference passed the alumni association statutes and elected the first board members of the Pharmacy Alumni Association. Third, Zhao Meiqing, a member of the Development Office, announced the Approval on the Approval of the Establishment of the Pharmaceutical Alumni Association of Jiangsu University. Finally, Zhang Jijian made a speech. He expressed his warm congratulations on the election of the alumni association directors and his sincere gratitude to the alumni for supporting the work of the school. He pointed out that relying on the alumni association platform, he would continue to promote the common development of the school and alumni.

At the meeting, Lu Jie also issued letters of appointment to the alumni association directors one by one.
