On the morning of April 18th, Prof. Yuhong Xu, winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, visited school of Pharmacy. She was invited to give a lecture entitled “Drug delivery system for targeting tumor microenvironment”, which was hosted by Prof. Ximing Xu, the Dean of School of Pharmacy at Jiangsu University.
During the lecture, Prof. Yuhong Xu presented the latest research progress of her group in targeted drug delivery system. Subsequently, nearly 100 faculty and students raised several questions on the research hot spots and had a fruitful discussion with Prof. Xu.
Prof. Xu is Professor of School of Pharmacy at Shanghai Jiaotong University, where she is vice dean of School of Pharmacy. Prof. Xu’s current research focuses on the targeted delivery system for drug and genetic materials. Her research also explores the formulations and applications of vaccine, adjuvants, molecular imaging probes and contrast agents. Up to data, Prof. Xu has held numerous funding, including National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation and other vital funds.
