To deepen the study and implementation of the Party's innovative theories, guide students to fully grasp their core principles and practical requirements, while further promoting the school's fine traditions and fostering students 'love and pride for the institution, the Standing Deputy Director of the School's Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, Chai Shungen, was invited on November 14 to deliver a thematic lecture on the school's history and current situation, along with a public faith education session for freshmen of the School of Pharmacy. The lecture was chaired by Qiu Xiangkui, Secretary of the School's Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, and all freshmen of the School of Pharmacy attended the event.

At the outset of the lecture, Professor Chai Shungen guided the 2025 freshmen through a retrospective of the university's educational journey since its founding in 1902. Through detailed archival materials and inspiring personal stories, he recounted the institution's remarkable achievements in serving national strategic needs, advancing technological progress in various industries, and nurturing new talents for the modern era. This vivid interpretation of the profound essence of "broad learning, seeking truth, and moral integrity" highlighted the enduring spirit of self-improvement and ethical dedication that has characterized generations of Jiangda University members. The time-spanning historical review profoundly strengthened the freshmen's sense of identity, pride, and belonging. Professor Chai expressed earnest expectations for the pharmacy students, urging them to actively learn from the Party and deeply understand the worldview and methodology embedded in its innovative theories, while recognizing the vital role of pharmaceutical science in safeguarding public health.

After the lecture, students pledged to honor the instructions, channel their learning into motivation, uphold the Jiangda Spirit, and study diligently.
