On March 29th, 2022, the award list of the 17th "Challenge Cup" National Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition for College Students was announced, and all 6 works of our school were awarded. One of the six awarded the second prize was the life science work "Molecular Modification and Directional Immobilization of Biocatalysts to Prepare Low Molecular Sugar" guided by Zhang Yewang, one professor of our school.

There were a total of 1509 works received in this competition. The evaluation committee selected 49 mainland works for the grand prize, 109 for the first prize, 320 for the second prize and 755 for the third prize. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the Challenge Cup Final was held for the first time online from March 26th to 28th. The teams of our school overcame the difficulties resulted from epidemic and the change of the competition time. They fought together with composure, showing the high-spirited state of minds of teenagers in School of Pharmacy, Jiangsu University.
