On March 23, the open viewing class of the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year of the School of Pharmacy began in 803 Sanshan Building. Qi Xueyong, head of the Department of Pharmacy, gave a lecture on "Introduction to Pharmacy".

Teacher Qi Xueyong first quoted the Implementation Plan of the Major Project for the Revitalization and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued by The State Council in 2023, and integrated ideological and political elements such as adhering to the principles of integrity and innovation, inheriting not ancient history, adhering to innovation, and following the laws of the development of traditional Chinese medicine into teaching.

Next, two guidelines of FDA involving Chinese medicine are introduced. Taking the research and development and listing of Veregen as an example, students are discussed how to learn from modern scientific achievements and technical methods at home and abroad, consolidate and carry forward the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine, promote the modernization and industrialization of Chinese medicine, and promote Chinese medicine to the world.

A total of 15 teachers participated in this open class, and the School of Pharmacy required assistant teaching teachers who did not teach during this period to participate in this open class observation activity. This open class showed young teachers the methods and skills of integrating ideological and political elements into the curriculum, which promoted the improvement of young teachers' teaching ability.
