On May 12, the opening ceremony and forum of the China Cosmetics Industry-University-Research Collaborative Innovation Platform were held at the Shanghai Pudong New International Expo Center（SNIEC）.
This forum is guided by CBE China Beauty Expo, the Cosmetic Industry Branch of the China Association for Anti Aging Promotion, and jointly organized by CBE SUPPLY Beauty Supply Chain Expo, China Cosmetics Industry-University-Research Collaborative Innovation Platform, Beijing National Academy of Cosmetics Science and Technology Natural Sciences and other units. It is specially supported by the China Science Center of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences. Relevant leaders, university representatives, industry experts, business representatives, and friends from the media were invited to conduct in-depth discussions on "the latest achievements, industrial needs, and transformation cooperation", aiming to promote mutual cooperation, exchange and learning between cosmetics enterprises and cosmetics-related scientific research institutions, enhance the awareness of cooperation and enhance innovation capabilities, and achieve high-quality development of the cosmetics industry.
The School of Pharmacy of Jiangsu University is one of the initiators of this collaborative innovation platform.Tong Shanshan, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmacy, led a team of some cosmetic micro major instructors to participate in this event. Qi Xueyong, the head of the Pharmacy Department, has been appointed as an executive member of the Expert Think Tank Committee of the China Cosmetics Industry University Research Collaborative Innovation Platform.
The attending teachers visited the 27th CBE China Beauty Expo, listened to multiple academic reports, comprehensively understood the development trends, new technologies, new raw materials, and new regulatory regulations of the cosmetics industry, deeply studied new technologies in plant active ingredient extraction, collagen production, cosmetics formulations, etc., understood market demand and trends, explored opportunities for industry university research cooperation, and obtained the latest teaching resources and cases, so as to promote the construction and development of micro-majors in cosmetics science and technology.
