Our hospital held a laboratory safety officer training and experience sharing exchange meeting in the 1301 conference room of the College of Pharmacy, and carried out a small hazardous chemical leak emergency drill in the 2406 laboratory. Shen Song, the vice president of the School of Pharmacy safety, the laboratory staff of the center and all the safety staff of the research group participated in the training and exercise.
The Central laboratory of the College of Pharmacy reported various situations in the recent safety inspection, and organized research groups to share experience in safety management, including daily management of laboratory safety, the use of self-made online management forms for dangerous chemicals, the use of 3D printed microglass weighing spoon and pipette head quick entry tool in daily experiments. Subsequently, the laboratory safety personnel of 2406 and 2504 of the College of Pharmacy organized an emergency disposal drill for hazardous chemical leakage in the laboratory of 2406, taking the dangerous chemical reagents involved in their research groups as an example, mainly simulating the sudden concentrated sulfuric acid leakage incident during the experiment and how to carry out emergency disposal. Focus on the use of emergency rescue equipment, including emergency spray equipment, emergency equipment cabinet facilities, etc., according to the process of efficient disposal of hazardous chemicals emergencies. This exercise further improved the laboratory hazardous chemical leakage emergency handling ability, and improved the professional emergency rescue organization and management level of the college and students.
Through this training and exercise, the teachers and students of the college who participated in the training deeply realized the professionalism of the disposal of dangerous chemicals and enhanced their self-prevention and self-rescue skills. In the future, our college will continue to strengthen the laboratory safety emergency handling training, improve the safety awareness of teachers and students and the ability to safely dispose of dangerous chemicals, and ensure a good teaching and scientific research environment of the school.
