In order to let more students grasp the basic knowledge of emergency rescue and handle accidental injuries better, the Chinese Young Volunteers Association of our school held an emergency rescue training for the freshmen in the evening of November 15th, 2022.

Two hosts trained before summarized the trauma rescue, introduced the common trauma bleeding and the corresponding hemostatic technology, using methods of triangle scarfs and bandages to students. After the introduction, related videos were played and volunteers were invited to demonstrate on stage. Followed by that came practical training. The volunteers went to the corresponding positions according to the groups arranged in advance to guide the students how to use bandages and triangular scarfs. In the end, the hosts introduced the methods, procedures and precautions of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The speaker invited volunteers and some students to demonstrate CPR procedures on stage.

The students had a preliminary understanding of emergency rescue, grasped its knowledge and skills preliminarily and enhanced the confidence of saving others through this activity. They also had stronger capacities of saving the life of the wounded, preventing the deterioration of the injury and promoting the recovery of the wounded in an emergency. What is more, our school further achieved that everyone can give first aid, everyone have access to first aid which was of great significance to life safety
