To strengthen Party members 'and cadres' awareness of discipline and rules, and to reinforce the ideological defense against corruption, the School of Pharmacy's Party Branch held a special lecture on the morning of April 11 in the library's first-floor auditorium. Comrade Yang Zhichun, Deputy Secretary of the University's Discipline Inspection Commission, was invited to deliver a lecture titled "Strictly Adhering to Discipline and Rules: Building a Robust Ideological Defense." All faculty, student Party members, development candidates, and active Party membership aspirants attended the event, which was chaired by Liu Zhengxin, Secretary of the School of Pharmacy's Party Committee.

Yang Zhichun outlined three key measures: First, to strengthen learning and maintain a sense of reverence, Party members and cadres must thoroughly study Party discipline and regulations, firmly establishing the principle that 'red lines must not be crossed and bottom lines must not be breached.' Second, to learn from cases and sound the alarm for integrity, using typical disciplinary violations in education as warnings to deeply understand the harm of teachers' misconduct. Third, to strictly discipline oneself and fortify ideological defenses, by thoroughly identifying integrity risks in research, teaching, and management, rigorously fulfilling responsibilities, and actively fostering an environment where cadres govern with integrity, teachers teach with integrity, and students uphold moral purity.

In his concluding remarks, Liu Zhengxin stressed that this seminar represents a crucial initiative for the college to strengthen its Party conduct and integrity. All Party members and cadres should learn from these cases, reflect on their conduct, internalize disciplinary rules, and translate their learning outcomes into concrete actions that advance academic development, foster scientific innovation, and serve faculty and students.
