On March 20, the "Pharmacy Tints Nature, Rubbings Illuminate the Heart" DIY plant rubbing activity, part of the 3·20 Mental Health Education Festival hosted by the Psychology Association of the School of Pharmacy, was successfully held in Classroom 1101 of the Pharmacy Building. Through the distinctive DIY plant rubbing session, the activity guided students to release stress and heal their minds in the integration of nature and art.

At the event site, volunteers from the Psychology Association prepared fresh flower petals, leaves, pure cotton handkerchiefs and rubbing tools in advance. Students selected their favorite plant materials, arranged them in elaborate layouts, secured them with tape, and then gently tapped them with small hammers. The rhythmic tapping sounds rose one after another, like a unique melody for the soul. With each patient and focused tap, the plant sap slowly seeped into the fabric, fully preserving the delicate charm of the petals and the intricate textures of the leaf veins. Each piece of plant rubbing work stands as a witness to the dialogue between nature and the soul, and is cherished by participants as a "gift for the heart". During the activity, teachers and students exchanged skills and shared creative ideas, filling the venue with a relaxed and warm atmosphere.

Going forward, the Psychology Association will continue to explore more distinctive activity forms featuring "mental health + professional studies" and "mental health + arts", act as guardians of students' mental growth, let sunlight shine into every corner, and keep warmth and beauty spreading continuously across the School of Pharmacy.
