To help students participating in the short-term winter vacation overseas exchange program make thorough preparations and ensure the smooth running of the program, the School of Pharmacy recently held a pre-departure guidance session via an online meeting platform. Faculty advisors and all students enrolled in the program attended the session.
The advisors highlighted the significance of overseas exchange in broadening students' international horizons and enhancing their professional competence, and urged students to cherish the opportunity, prioritize personal safety, and achieve rewarding learning outcomes.
The session focused on pre-departure safety education. Drawing on practical cases, the instructors delivered comprehensive explanations on personal and property safety, local laws and regulations, foreign affairs discipline and health protection for overseas stay. They also reminded students to respect local cultural customs and make adequate preparations for cross-cultural communication.
This online guidance session featured substantial content and strong targeted guidance. It addressed students' concerns in a timely manner and laid a solid foundation for students to successfully complete their overseas exchange program. The School of Pharmacy will continue to support students' participation in international exchanges, and contribute to cultivating high-quality pharmaceutical talents with a global vision.
