On November 8th, the issuance ceremony to issue commemorative book to volunteers who supported Nanjing nucleic acid testing was held in the lobby on the first floor of the School of Pharmacy. School Party Secretary Lu Jie, Dean of the school of pharmacy Wei Yuan, Deputy Party Secretary Liu Zhengxin, and Deputy Dean Tong Shanshan issued volunteer commemorative books to representative volunteers.
This summer, the sudden epidemic in Nanjing disrupted our daily life. According to the deployment of superiors, students with a medical background were required as volunteers. More than 200 volunteers of our college assembled quickly after hearing the order. They put on masks and white armors, successfully complete various voluntary services in seven days. They used practical actions to fulfill the vow of response to every call. The commemorative album was collected and sorted out by the Statistics Bureau of Yuhuatai District, Nanjing. Nanjing Lanjingren Network Technology Co., Ltd. provided free technical support and printing of the commemorative album.
The purpose of this commemorative book awarding ceremony is to further carry forward the great anti-epidemic spirit. It can enhance our sense of professional identity and encourage students to stand on a new starting point and make their due contributions to social progress and development with a firmer pace.
