On March 28, the orienteering club competition of Jiangsu University's 24th Sports Meet kicked off at Dongshan Track and Field Stadium. Hosted by the University Sports Affairs Committee, organized by the Physical Education Department and co-organized by the University Orienteering Association, the event gathered 185 athletes from 22 schools, with participation growing steadily year on year. The competition comprised two events: the team event and the individual points race, and the School of Pharmacy fielded eight athletes for the contest.
After intense competition, the top eight spots in the team event were claimed respectively by the School of Pharmacy, the School of Energy and Power Engineering, the School of Medicine, the Automotive Research Institute, the School of Management, the School of Life Sciences, the Institute of Energy Research, and the School of Materials Science and Engineering.
In the men's individual event, the top eight rankings went to Xiao Tianlong (School of Medicine), Yan Dong (School of Pharmacy), Li Zhehao (School of Energy and Power Engineering), Ma Jichen (School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering), Zhao Haoshuang (School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering), Li Muyu (School of Energy and Power Engineering), Zhao Fei (School of Electrical and Information Engineering), and Song Yunpeng (School of Energy and Power Engineering).
In the women's individual event, the top eight finishers were Huang Ning (School of Medicine), Xu Li (Automotive Research Institute), Zhang Yuxin (School of Management), Ding Jingyi (School of Mathematical Sciences), Jiang Yingying (School of Chinese Language and Literature), Liu Shumei (School of Pharmacy), Cai Meiyan (Automotive Engineering Research Institute), and Liu Huijuan (School of Materials Science and Engineering).
For the overall team score, the top eight positions were taken respectively by the School of Medicine, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Energy and Power Engineering, the Automotive Research Institute, the School of Management, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Mathematical Sciences, and the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering.
