On April 8, to steadily advance graduate employment work and deliver efficient, targeted employment services to students, the School of Pharmacy, together with the School of Food and Biological Engineering, the School of Environmental and Safety Engineering, the School of Life Sciences, and the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, held the 2026 Spring Special Job Fair at the university gymnasium. The event attracted over 1,000 graduates from across the university. With a warm and lively atmosphere on site, the fair delivered remarkable outcomes in matching employer demand with graduate supply.
Over 50 well-known domestic enterprises participated in the job fair, covering key sectors including biotechnology, pharmaceutical R&D, food processing, environmental protection engineering and chemical manufacturing. In total, more than 200 high-quality positions were offered, with an overall recruitment demand of over 1,000 vacancies, providing graduates with a broader platform for career development. The participating enterprises included multiple industry leaders and national high-tech enterprises. Some companies also launched management trainee programs and dedicated R&D positions exclusively for the Class of 2026, fully reflecting employers’ urgent demand for interdisciplinary and innovative talents.
The fair venue was bustling with activity, with strong momentum on both the recruitment and job-seeking sides. Employers set up elaborate booths and gave comprehensive introductions to their corporate culture, development prospects and talent growth systems through poster displays and face-to-face Q&A sessions. Many companies also invited outstanding alumni who had joined them in previous years to share their first-hand work experiences, helping younger students gain a clearer picture of career development paths. Graduates, armed with well-prepared resumes, held in-depth discussions with company representatives on specific issues such as job requirements, salary and benefits, career advancement and work locations, demonstrating solid professional competence and a proactive employment mindset.
By building a professional and precise employment service platform, this joint job fair of the five schools has effectively promoted the organic integration of the education chain, talent chain and industrial chain. Leading officials of each school and graduation class counselors were present throughout the event. They held in-depth exchanges with enterprise representatives to learn about the latest employment trends in the industry, and provided on-site one-stop services for graduates including resume reviews and interview guidance.
Going forward, the five schools will follow up on the feedback and data collected from the job fair, conducting return visits to key enterprises and providing tracking services for students who have signed employment agreements. They will continue to improve the linkage mechanism of "enrollment, cultivation and employment", constantly optimize talent cultivation programs, and deliver more high-quality professional talents to support social development.
