The year 2022 is the 35th anniversary of World HIV Day. Therefore, in order to respond to the theme of "Fight against HIV, share with health" and let the students have a clear sense of HIV, the Chinese Young Volunteers Association of our school held a training activity called “Prevent HIV, Give love, We are together”, popularizing HIV prevention knowledge.

Two hosts who were trained before introduced HIV to students first. They explained to students why the world valued HIV so much with a series of data and cases. Besides, in order to arouse the attention of the majority of young students and enhance the awareness of AIDS prevention, the hosts stated the risks of HIV infection in young students and how to prevent AIDS. Several questions were asked to students then. The proper use of condoms was also introduced by volunteers who were grouped before. They taught the proper use to each row of students with the condoms in their hands. In the end, the hosts introduced how to use the HIV self-test kit and told students that “with love in heart, without fear of HIV”.

All students attending realized the importance of fighting against HIV. They came to receive HIV self-test kit after the activity, expressing their support for the activity. Fighting against HIV is a rather hard task which requires all people to get united and fight back together.
