In the lush early summer with thriving greenery, the School of Pharmacy of Jiangsu University held its "Warmth in Notes, Sunshine in Heart" Postcard Energy Exchange Activity in the school lobby on May 29. Designed to help students relieve academic and research pressure, build an anonymous platform for emotional communication, and foster a rational, peaceful and positive mindset, the event drew enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students across all grades.
At the event site, custom postcards with distinctive pharmacy features were neatly arranged. Faculty and students stopped by to put pen to paper, writing down their innermost thoughts on the cards. Beautiful wishes such as "Set off from the pharmacy garden, and bloom all the way", firm original aspirations like "Bear the calling of a pharmacist, and walk with radiant steps", and sincere blessings including "May you have companions across thousands of miles ahead" all came vividly alive on paper. Many students also drew lovely rabbits, cats and flowers, adding extra warmth to the written words. Postcards filled with heartfelt thoughts were dropped into the "Sunshine Mailbox", and each participant then randomly drew a blessing from a stranger, completing a mutual, heartwarming transmission of kindness.
Short as the notes are, they carry deep affection beyond words. This activity is an important initiative of the School of Pharmacy to fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, deepen the comprehensive reform of the "Three-wide Education" (full-staff, full-process and all-round education), and advance the normalization of mental health education. The school has always integrated psychological education into the entire process of talent cultivation. Through such heartwarming events, it guides students to practice self-acceptance and mutual encouragement, and nurtures a campus atmosphere of solidarity and friendship. May every student carry this warmth and strength, forge ahead bravely on the journey of growth, and shine with their own unique brilliance.
