To solidly deliver sound management and services for students staying on campus during the summer vacation, the School of Pharmacy held a special meeting on summer on-campus safety work in Conference Room 1301 on July 9. Dai Yunqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the school, attended and delivered remarks. Teacher Qiu, the lead coordinator for on-campus summer students, and class-level responsible persons for on-campus students from each class were present at the meeting.
At the meeting, Teacher Qiu conveyed the university’s latest requirements for summer safety management, emphasizing that safety is the bottom line of all work and brooks no trace of slack. For the on-campus management work, three key requirements were laid out: first, to strengthen sense of responsibility. Persons in charge at all levels shall clarify their respective duties to ensure full-coverage safety management with no blind spots. Second, to focus on critical links. Priority shall be given to dormitory electricity safety, standardized laboratory operations, travel registration and fraud prevention, and the daily check-in and zero-report system shall be strictly enforced. Third, to enhance humanistic care. Staff shall proactively learn about the study and life difficulties of on-campus students, provide timely emotional support, and foster a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
Dai Yunqing made specific work arrangements and clarified the three-level linkage mechanism of "school - responsible person - dormitory". She required strict implementation of the daily check-in and leave application & approval system to ensure real-time tracking of students' whereabouts. She also specially reminded that all personnel entering laboratories must strictly abide by operating procedures, take proper protective measures, and eliminate potential accident hazards.
The attending responsible persons unanimously stated that they will earnestly implement the spirit of the meeting, fulfill their duties, strengthen cross-level coordination, and build a solid safety defense line with practical actions, so as to ensure all students spend a safe and fulfilling vacation.
